Brian’s practice is focused on Bankruptcy matters.
He has a great grasp of the bankruptcy code and enjoys helping clients navigate the complexity of bankruptcy. He understands that clients want the relief the bankruptcy code provides and it is his job to understand the code and get them that relief.
Many would say that Brian is a true Arkansan; he loves the Natural State. Brian has made Central Arkansas his home and does not have plans to change that any time soon. He was born and raised in Little Rock where he attended to Central High School. After high school, Brian then moved to Conway where he attended the University of Central Arkansas. Once finishing college, Brian decided to return to his hometown and attend law school.
At wh, Brian’s area of practice focuses entirely on bankruptcy. His interest in the law started at a young age. Brian says that when he was growing up he knew he wanted to be either an artist or a lawyer (that’s some range, right?). It did not hurt his career path that Brian’s father is a creditor attorney as well and became his mentor. Through his father’s work, he was exposed to the legal world and he followed in those footsteps. To this day if you asked him, Brian would say that he sees himself doing this work for a long time.
Along with his passion for the law, he has a passion for music. While attending the University of Central Arkansas for undergrad, he was in the band where he played trumpet and even graduated with a degree in Trumpet Performance. In addition to being a music enthusiast, Brian also loves sports. Like many Arkansans, Brian is an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan. From baseball to basketball, to football, Brian knows all of the stats and will always be down for calling the hogs. Speaking of sports, Brian got his competitive nature from family competition. Brian’s family used to play a ton of ping pong and it must be noted that Brian is also the reigning office ping pong champion.
In his spare time, Brian really enjoys traveling. This summer he plans to cross going to Hawaii off his bucket list. Throughout all of Brian’s travel, his favorite place to travel to so far is Key West, Florida. This place holds a special place in Brian’s heart because that is where him and his wife, Mary, got married.
Ultimately, Brian is an easy-going guy that works very hard at the things he is passionate about. His unique qualities and skills are what make him a great asset to the wh Law team. With Brian, you’re in good hands.
