Please taze me bro

Please taze me bro.Florida is the Sunshine State. It apparently is also the state where Don’t taze me bro and Please taze me bro both occur.

A 69-year-old man tried to go fisticuffs with a police officer but got a tazed instead. The arrest report didn’t describe events leading up to the confrontation, but apparently John Sherman McCormick of Fort Walton Beach poked the officer in the nose, cursed him and said, “You want to talk to me? Let’s talk,” the officer reported.  He did it again and the officer pushed him down, told him to roll over onto his stomach and put his hands behind his back. McCormick said “Let’s [*@#$%] go” and challenged the officer to a fight.

When the officer pulled out his taser, McCormick is said to have made a grab for it. The officer stepped back and tased him.  McCormick was then taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center to have the taser barbs removed, then returned to Fort Walton Beach PD for booking and taken to jail.  He was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest without violence.

If you remember in 2007 at the University of Florida the Don’t taze me bro incident occurred as John Kerry was speaking. The student, Andrew Meyer, tried to question Kerry and was pulled away from the microphone, held down, and tazed. While being tazed, he yelled “Dont taze me bro!” Meyer registered the phrase as a trademark in September 2007. Here is the video if you don’t remember. It will also remind of how bad camera phones were in 2007.
