Though she may have been born in Moline, Illinois, Penelope “Penny” Barger is an Arkansas woman through and through. Raised in Bryant, AR, Penny has crisscrossed the state, living in Benton, Little Rock, Poplar Bluff, MO and Walnut Ridge before ultimately settling down in Prairie Grove.
With over 19 years of legal experience, Penny has lent her talents to firms handling family law, criminal law, social security, personal injury, and bankruptcy cases. She also brings insurance expertise gained during her tenure at TransAmerica to the table. But as much as Penny enjoys the intellectual challenges of her work, what she is most passionate about is getting to chat with clients and help ease their burdens.
When she manages to have some rare downtime, you’re likely to find Penny snapping photos of her adorable cats or lounging by the pool with music blaring. And she will seize any opportunity she can to sneak in some much-needed alone time reading a good book or singing her heart out (even if it’s out of tune).Â
With her compassion for others and insider understanding of the Arkansas legal landscape, Penny feels right at home with the WH Law crew. She looks forward to soaking up more adventures in her home state – even if that just means mastering a new recipe in her kitchen.
Unless you’re already a lawyer, you probably have questions. We believe in educating people on the law, even if they don’t use our services. Go ahead and dive in.
