Michelle is originally from Madison, Georgia. She is the youngest in her family with three older brothers, and all four became licensed attorneys. Her two oldest brothers are licensed to practice law in Georgia and her other brother, like Michelle, is licensed to practice law in Arkansas. There is a famous saying that states, “Doctors produce lawyers and lawyers produce doctors,” and there must be a little truth to this as Michelle’s father is a primary care physician.
Heavily involved in sports throughout her childhood and adolescence, she participated in ballet, gymnastics, horseback riding, soccer, softball, and competitive cheerleading.
After graduating high school, Michelle majored in Psychology in college and throughout her undergraduate career, she maintained the Georgia HOPE Scholarship, which is merit-based. In 2010, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia. Fun fact about Michelle: during her four years as an undergraduate, she never missed one day of class.
In the Fall of 2012, she moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, to attend law school at UALR Bowen School of Law, and graduated in 2015. She then passed the Arkansas Bar in 2016.
Prior to working at WH Law, she has most recently practiced in personal injury law and prior to practicing law worked in the banking industry, specifically auditing. Her professional and academic careers have provided opportunities that have allowed her to polish her abilities in analytical problem solving, as well as communicating with clarity and conciseness. She is eager and energized to provide peace of mind to those in need of legal assistance in the area of labor law.
Michelle has an infant daughter, an Italian Mastiff, and a Siamese cat that keep her busy outside of work. She enjoys visiting local parks in Central Arkansas with her daughter and dog, Barbie.
